Great To Watch, Fun To Ride

Keep the date and register for the cycling event of the year at Carnival 2022 

• Spectator tickets are sold at the ticketing desk and are only $10 for under 15 its free.
• Programmes $3, available at the ticket gate
• Gates for riders open at 12.30pm, and gates for spectators open at 1.30pm.
• Come to watch or enter to race, as our cycling carnival has something for everyone.

Grades from U13 right through to Elite and Masters will be on show for a spectacle of fast and furious track cycling.

With $10,000 in prize money and race trophies up for grabs on the day, why would you be anywhere else?!

Entry fees (payment on the day - EftPos available):

• U13/U15 $10.00
• U17 and above $30.00

Spectator tickets can be purchased at the gate. A licensed bar will be open during the event with food and beverages available for purchase.

Registrations close 7January 2022.

On Sunday 16 January 2022, Christchurch will host the Cycling New Zealand Criterium National Champs.

COVID-19

• We are currently operating under the NZ Government Traffic Light System in the colour Orange.
• Entry and exit for the duration of the weekend for everyone is through the main entrance of Denton Park.
• All persons over the age of 12 years and 3 months of age entering the venue will be required to show proof that they are double vaccinated. This applies to riders, officials, coaches, spectators, and anyone else. There are no exceptions.
• Those under the age of 12 years and 3 months may be asked to show proof of age.
• Wear a mask when entering Denton Park velodrome.
• If you are sick we ask that you stay away and do not attend the event.
• All attendees will need to sign in on entry using the QR Code or by doing so manually.
