The wellbeing of our club riders and supporters is important to our community and CTC takes these responsibilities seriously.
Rider and Caregiver Wellbeing
CTC is committed to ensuring the wellbeing of our club members is a priority. That's why we've adopted the Cycling New Zealand policies and guidelines.
For ease of reference, we have specific links to:
Code of Conduct
All CTC Club members, when registering with CTC for the season, agree to abide by the CNZ Code of Conduct as part of their registration.
All CTC Club members representing CTC at national track events are required to sign the CTC Code of Conduct document (circulated prior to each event).
National Selection Policy
Selecting a team to represent the Club is never an easy task, and the CTC Selection Panel has criteria to consider. Riders wishing to be eligible for national track events should make themselves familiar with these guidelines.
Riders should note that to be eligible for selection to represent CTC at a national track event, it is a requirement that their Primary Club is Canterbury Track Cycling on their CNZ licence.
Riders selected for a CTC team will be entitled to infield mechanical support as well as financial support. Riders will be entered to race for CTC at the event they have been selected for and may not ride for any additional team for the duration of that event.
If you have any queries on any of our policies, please contact the Executive Committee on
